The night started at 6pm with everyone heading down to O'Malley's.
Twas a fun evening of quiet drinking and enjoyable food (While getting drunk
was not planned it was obvious by the jovial smiles on the faces of many
that it had happened never-the-less). His Uni mates turned up, as did his
Northside friends as did all 'the group' and other school friends. Guest
list included: Myself, Courtney, Amy, Stuey, Mikey, Bek, Jason, Ben, Edina,
Tim H, Bruce, Ashley (Shazza), Kieren and many other people I didn't
know like Daisy, Anne and Hans (Uni friends). Pete was presented with Mickey
Mouse ears, a framed group of photos, aswell as a book in which everyone
was asked to draw a picture of Peter and write a goodbye note. From what
I read some of them were pretty fucken funny. Peter got nicely toasted (not
trashed but drunk). People came and went all night, after work or heading
home for sleep, but the majority of people left between 11 and 12.30am.
After Kicked out of O'Malley's; Stuey, Mikey, me and Yongas headed to
the Casino. After some roulette playing by Stuey and Mikey, we headed over
to the Pokies. Dude then comes and says Stu and Yongas were threatening
him in the toilet. They didn't say anything but looked at him weirdly and
he felt very intimidated. He said he probably seemed to be talking to himself
but was really talking to his mate in the toilet cubicle and if they had a
problem with him they should say so. He kept saying their was 4 of us 1 of
him so if we had a problem all we had to do was speak up. He spoke so calmly
and seemed so serious about feeling intimidated... it was fucken weird! Took
Yongas and Stuey ten minutes of repeating that they didn't mean to intimidate
him, and they're not that sort of person before he got the idea and left.
After the Casino some serious Strip Club action was required. We headed
to Universal (after the Bouncer at MINX said only two girls were left and
they weren't worth the $15 cover charge). When we walked in only about 5
other dudes were in the whole place. Within a half-hour it was just us. The
strippers converged on us hoping we'd pay for lap dances. Stuey obliged later
in the night forking out $70 for admittely one of the hottest young ladies
I have ever laid eyes on. Mikey told the ladies to bring as many strippers
out near Yongas as possible so he could choose one he liked. Yongas didn't
know about this. He chatted to one stripper for about an hour and a half
to a young asian stripper called Alex. After som exchanged plensetries she
said 'you know what would be really fun? A lap dance!" attempting to speak
sexually. Peter kindly declined, to which she replied to a mocking/sarcastic
tone "Let me guess you have a girlfriend and you want to be 'faithful'".
Strippers have an unsually perspective on life. I was talking to the stripper
Stu got a lap dance from and I was asking her how much she made. She said
she woprked 6 nights a week and got $500 a night. She said of course that
depended on the week. Usually buisness men would come in instead of going
hom to their wives but with it being Christmas time they wanted to spend
time with 'family' A thought she obviously found dissapointing (since she
was losing money). Anyway when Alex was talking to Peter he said he knew
she was just trying to get money out of him and was just talking to her because
he was trying to be friendly. Then made the quotation symbol with his hands
when using her name "Alex". Piss funny to listen to. One final note: Yongas
is the only guy... who when taken to a strip club and oftered a lap dance
for free from any stripper in the place, somehow ends up drawing caricatures
for them instead... He had an entourage of 5 at one stage and drew pictures
for two of them and a couple more signed his book for him. Alex drew him
a picture (probably trying to entice him into a lappy he couldn't afford)
of herself.
A taxi was then called for home at about 4am (my guess is there was some
serious masturbation on arrival home by the boys but I'd prefer not to think
about it).
So ends the tale of Yongas' going away party. The last day of non-yuppyness
for Peter. He shall die one day...
